SEC Electrical Certification and TE Processing

Technical review, measurements, documentation and support to declare, regularize or commission electrical installations before the SEC, identifying the correct procedure according to the type of project.

SEC electrical procedures

We identify the correct procedure according to the type of installation and the actual status of the project.

TE-1

Interior electrical installation

Declaration or regularization of interior installations in homes, commerce, buildings, industries and consumer areas.

TE-2

Public lighting

Commissioning of public lighting works, luminaires, panels, circuits and associated systems.

TE-3

electric fence

Declaration of energized electric fence installations for perimeter security.

TE-4

Distributed generation / BESS

Commissioning of residential generators, solar PV systems, distributed generation, efficient cogeneration and BESS storage where applicable.

TE-6

Electric vehicle charging

Commissioning of charging infrastructure, chargers, electric stations, buildings, fleets, electric terminals and charging points.

TE-7

PMGD

Communication or energization of PMGD facilities connected to distribution networks, depending on the scope of the project.

Technical scope

Declaring a facility requires more than completing a form.

Before entering an SEC declaration, we review the facility, the available history and the technical conditions that may affect security, operational continuity and acceptance of the procedure.

  • Identification of the applicable SEC procedure according to the type of installation: TE-1, TE-2, TE-3, TE-4, TE-6 or TE-7.
  • Review of panels, protections, circuits, conduits, grounding, splicing, equipment and visible safety conditions.
  • Electrical measurements and tests according to scope: continuity, insulation, grounding, differentials, polarity and functional verifications.
  • Preparation and organization of plans, reports, forms, technical sheets, photographic backups and required documentation.
  • Support in regularization, declaration, collection of observations and technical coordination of the process.
When do you need this service

When should it be requested?

01

You need to regularize an existing electrical installation.

02

You require TE-1 for reception, rental, sale, expansion, connection or commissioning.

03

Your installation was observed and you need technical support to correct it.

04

You are going to install electric vehicle chargers and you need TE-6.

05

You have a solar, BESS or distributed generation project and you need to check if TE-4 applies.

06

Your project corresponds to PMGD and requires technical support for TE-7.

Work process

Simple and traceable process

1

Diagnosis of the procedure

We review background, type of installation, power, location and purpose of the certificate.

2

Technical review and measurements

We verify the electrical conditions on the ground and make observations if they exist.

3

Documentation and declaration

We order technical backups and support the filing or regularization with the SEC as appropriate.

Do you need to certify or regularize an electrical installation?

Send us the location, type of installation, approximate power, photographs of the board, available background information and objective of the procedure. With that information we review the scope and show you the right path.

For a faster quote, send:
  • Address or commune.
  • Installation type.
  • Approximate power.
  • Photographs of board, splicing and main equipment.
  • Plans, report or previous certificate if it exists.
  • Objective of the procedure: TE-1, regularization, EV recharge, generation, PMGD or other.

Transparency: Registration or acceptance of an SEC statement depends on the technical compliance of the facility, the available history and the corresponding review. If there are observations, the necessary corrections will be reported before continuing. Technical service is priced according to scope; SEC procedures may have their own conditions depending on the platform and type of declaration.
